Digital Forest Asset Management
Why did the organization join the association?
In the transformation of supply chains away from mining and petrochemical dependencies towards agricultural, agroforestry, and forestry raw material provision, quality and transparency play an indispensable role. Not only does the total failure of the forest, priced in as a climate sink by the federal government (see the current national forest inventory), strengthen the demands for transparency. In general, the green sector in DE-A-CH has severe transparency deficits. The necessity arising from the supply chain law makes consistent documentation in the biotechnological value chains, which are unfamiliar to industrial players, indispensable. AARI wants to keep its finger on the pulse here and will contribute the experiences of the biogenic raw material industry.
